Hawaiian Electric crews and contractors will be working to replace aging wood poles in the Mililani Mauka.
Phase one of the project, requires contractors to install pier foundations in Waipio, Mililani Mauka and the East Range area of Schofield. The work in Mililani Mauka will be near Lehiwa Drive and Anuanu Place, which require the use of a helicopter since the pole is located in an inaccessible area.
Phase one of the work is scheduled from Monday, August 8th through Friday, September 30th between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including some weekends and holidays. The contractors will make every effort to minimize noise during this time and work quickly and safely to complete their work as soon as possible.
