The following is the most current information as of 11/01/20. Please check our website for updates as things change. We will continue to adjust business operations and policies as needed. See the latest emergency rules for specifics.
The following actions took effect October 30th, and will affect some of our homeowners:
Rec centers 1,2,3,4 & 7 are open daily, 7am to 7pm, subject to holiday and maintenance closures (see pool schedule for closures). Guests are allowed with appropriate guest fee.
Rec 1.
Lap swim 7am to 11:45am, five lanes, WebTrac reservations required.
Open swim with waterslide, noon to 4:45pm, no lanes. Maximum 25 people, no groups larger than 5 people.
Lap swim 5pm to 6:45pm, five lanes, WebTrac reservations required.
Times subject to maintenance closures.
Rec 2.
Lap swim 7am to 6:45pm, six lanes, WebTrac reservations required.
The ping pong room is open, no loaning of paddles/balls, max 5 people.
The outdoor tot lot is open, max of five at a time.
The outdoor basketball court is open, max 5 people per hoop, no group play.
Rec 3.
The pool is open 10am to 6pm for open swim. Maximum 25 people, no groups larger than 5 people.
Tennis court 1 is open, reserved for lessons.
Tennis court 2 is open for singles or doubles play, max of 4 people, WebTrac reservations required.
Pickleball courts 2,3,6 & 7 are open for singles or doubles play, no round robin, max of 4 people, WebTrac reservations required.
The business office is open for all regular business.
The hall is closed.
Water aerobics classes will begin shortly. There will be a 9am class and a 6pm class, WebTrac reservations are required.
The tennis court lights are on island, and are expected to be installed in December.
Rec 4.
The pool is open 7am to 7pm for open swim.
The splash park is open 7am to 7pm.
The tot lot is open, max of 5 people at a time.
Maximum 25 people total allowed inside the gate (pool/splash park/tot lot combined), no groups larger than 5 people.
Rec 5.
The facility is closed due to government limits on gatherings.
Rec 6.
The facility is closed due to construction. Due to some delays in manufacturing and shipping, the target re-opening is early December.
Rec 7.
The Café is open.
Lap swim is 7am to 11:45am, five lanes, WebTrac reservations required.
Open swim for half the pool is noon to 4:45pm. Max 25 people, no groups larger than 5.
Lap swim is noon to 4:45pm, two lanes, WebTrac reservations required.
Lap swim is 5pm to 6:45pm, five lanes, WebTrac reservations required.
The tot lot is open, max of 5 people at a time.
The outdoor covered seating is open, maximum 25 people, no groups larger than 5.
The gym is open, max 5 people per hoop, no group play, no balls provided.
The business office is open for all regular business.
Ping pong is open, no paddles/balls provided.
The internet/family room is open, maximum 10 people, no groups larger than 5.
Additional items:
- All outdoor open areas are open for exercise, no groups larger than 5 allowed. This includes Ravine Park, Triangle Park (Ukuwai and Ko’olani), and the exercise equipment by the Mauka Sign. The Ku’ulako Tot Lot is open, no more than 5 people at one time. Be aware that HPD may issue citations if the Mayor’s order isn’t followed.
- All MTA and independent contractor classes (except Water Aerobics), hall rentals, and meetings are canceled for November.
- All November special events are canceled.
- Tiny Tots and Seniors are canceled for November and October. Due to social distancing requirements, it may be many months before these programs return.
- All swim lessons are canceled for November. It is doubtful swim lessons will return while social distancing requirements are in place.
- The MTA Admin office phone (623-7300) is answered M-F, from 8am to noon, and 1pm to 4:30pm. The building is closed to walk-in customers. All departments will be doing all functions Monday through Friday, much of it remotely from home. Landscaping and Maintenance staff are working on site full-time.
- Design applications are accepted via mail or email. You may also drop-off applications at recs 3 and 7.
- Email remains the best method of contact.
- Any further government mandated or recommended guidance will be reviewed, and may change the aforementioned dates.
- Management is continuously monitoring for updates or required changes to procedures, and will err on the side of caution, in order to protect our homeowners and employees.
