While the weather can be unpredictable, MTA events will happen, rain or shine – with modifications if necessary. While we are hoping the weather will clear up enough for us to safely have our Movie Night on Saturday (May 18), it is possible that we will need to cancel the movie portion of the event.

When will we know if we are going to cancel the movie portion of the event?

We will be unable to predict what the weather will be like until the late afternoon of the event. Our staff, food, and snacks (provided by MTA) will be ready to hold the event as planned if possible. We will decide if we need to cancel the movie portion by 5:30 pm. Please visit this page or check your email for updates.

If we cancel the movie portion of the event, what does that mean for Members who have tickets?

If you have tickets for this event, they are non-refundable. If we decide to cancel the movie portion of the event, we encourage you to pick up the food/snacks that will be available. Food pick-up will be from 6:45 pm – 7:30 pm. Members must present tickets to pick up food.

Rainy Day Tips:

If we can safely proceed with the event in its entirety, we recommend that Members bring umbrellas, and lawn chairs (the grass may be wet/muddy).

• Ticket Price: $5 per MTA Member

• Tickets are required to attend. NO ENTRY AT THE DOOR.

AT THE EVENT:
• POOL & GRILLS ARE NOT AVAILABLE DURING THIS EVENT.
• Food tickets will be distributed at the door. One food ticket per attending member with valid ticket.
• Food line will be open from 6:45 pm – 7:30 pm.
• Water & Juice will be available. Rec 7 Café will also be open for business.
• Pavilions are first-come-first-served and/or reserved for sponsors.
• Chairs/seating not available.
• Please bring your own yard chairs or picnic blankets.
• ALLOWED: Small coolers, outside food/drinks, small umbrellas
• NOT ALLOWED: Tents, tables, alcohol, large umbrellas
• Please be courteous and try not to obstruct the view of others.
